Colorado School of Mines

Our founder graduated from the School of Mines in 1976 with a BS in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering. He looks back on his time there as a time of intense learning and growing in many ways. The education he received and the school’s reputation opened many doors throughout his career. More importantly, the effort needed to graduate in four years has gradually transformed into a confidence that complex tasks can be tackled through careful planning, focus, and dedication, even if the goal is something the person has no previous training or experience in.

In our view, the school continues to offer high caliber education coupled with confidence building life skills. For this reason, we aim to support students at Mines who require financial assistance to attend or would otherwise incur significant debt to meet the requirements.
